Today in court Jim Talbot didn't appear in court to answer charges of why he received a deposit to install a shower door and why he didn't perform the work. Judgment was awarded to Joyce Kelly. She will be taking further action to resolve this matter.

Jim Talbot came out and measured for a shower door to be installed. He quoted me a price and I gave him a $650.00 deposit. He said that he would be ordering the glass and could install it the following week.

I have been unable to get in touch with him, since.
Left multiple messages, but he has not returned either my phone call or my money.
I am currently pursuing legal action.
I would not recommend this person to do any work.

Jim Talbot owner of Big Dog Mirror and Shower, was called in by Johnson's Home Renovation, Inc. to be the installer for a two piece shower door. Jim Talbot received a check deposit of $650.00. He stated he would install the door the following Thursday the 12th of June. He never showed up. After repeated calling by Johnson's Home Renovation (The Contractor and Joyce Kelly the owner) Scott Johnson of Johnson's Home Renovation, Inc. finally reached Jim Talbot on Friday the 20th of June, Jim stated he had a family problems and would have them resolved a.s.a.p. and would be able to install by Monday 23rd. He never called or showed up. We have called Jim Talbot but he is refusing all calls from Joyce Kelly (Owner) and Scott Johnson (Johnson's Home Renovation, Inc. It is now one month later and still no word from Jim Talbot. We are going to take him to small claims court and will post the result here the BBB.
